Lets face it, all of us have fallen for a jerk at some point (some of us more than others). They may not even be the “bad boy” type but whatever they’re doing (or not doing, for that matter) has got you hung up. No matter how many times they screw up or how emotionally out of reach they are, you just can’t get enough. Here’s a list of some of the most memorable jerks of television and film:

- Don Draper from Mad Men: Oh Don Draper, I swoon just at the thought of you. No matter how many times you cheat on your beautiful wife, how many mistresses you go through, or how emotionally unavailable you are, I would gladly drop any guy I was with to time travel back to 1960 and join your harem of ladies. Yes, Don Draper is impossibly handsome and stoic, but he is also sensitive. Even at his job as an advertising executive he is able to understand the psyche of women.
- Christian from Clueless: Christian acted super interested in Cher but then kept her at arm’s length. Of course, she couldn’t get enough. She literally threw herself at him and he just never seemed interested. He kept her hanging on by complimenting her clothes, her hair, etc. As we learn later in the movie, this maybe should have been a red flag….
- Glenn Guglia from The Wedding Singer: What DID Drew see in him? He talked down to her and even ogled other girls right in front of her. He would have made a great contestant on “Tool Academy”. Thank god she found the light and left him for better days with Adam Sandler.
- Jasper Bloom from The Holiday: Poor Iris (played by Kate Winslet) is hopelessly in love with Jasper until he announces to their entire office at their Christmas party that he is engaged to be married to another colleague. Iris is of course heartbroken and trades houses with the also heartbroken Amanda (played by Cameron Diaz). Instead of leaving her alone, Jasper shows up in LA. Just when you start think, “Wow, can he really turn it all around?” he makes it crystal clear he has no plans to break things off with his fiancée! Another reminder that guys like Jasper - they just don’t get it, and they never will!
- Judith from Saving Silverman: I know, I know we’re talking about guys, but girls can be jerks too. Case in point, Judith, Darren’s girlfriend in Saving Silverman. Judith is a psychologist who tries to use her manipulative mind games to “whip” Darren into place. She even tries to force him to ditch his best friends because they see right through her act. Ladies, this does not work, in the movie or in real life so don’t even try it.
